Supplemental Terms and Conditions for the ielp Test

General 

These Terms and Conditions apply to your participation in the ielp Test of English when you register through one of our affiliate companies worldwide. Please note that we may update or modify these Terms and Conditions periodically.

By completing the registration process—either online or by phone—you agree to abide by the ielp Test Terms and Conditions. We encourage you to review these terms regularly to stay informed about any changes.

Test Results Expiration

After you take the ielp test, you will receive a certificate containing your ielp results and scores. Your Certificate is valid for two years from the date you take the ielp. After two years, your ielp Certificate will be marked expired and you will no longer be able to share your ielp Certificate with third parties.

Coupon Codes

ielp offers coupon codes that can be redeemed for taking the ielp test. These coupon codes have no cash value and cannot be used for refunds on past purchases. Some coupon codes may be sponsored by authorized third parties, such as universities.

If you redeem a coupon code sponsored by a Code Provider, you agree that ielp may share data about your use of the test and your ielp test results with the Code Provider.

Please note the following additional details regarding coupon codes:

• Each coupon code can be used up to three times after purchase.

• Coupon codes are valid for one year from the date of issuance. Within that year, you may take the exam up to three times.

• After the one-year validity period, the coupon code will no longer be accepted, and no further exam attempts can be made using that coupon.

Use Restrictions

You may not do any of the following without ielp’s express written permission.

Violate or circumvent any Test Rules, or otherwise cheat on the test.

Impersonate another person while registering for or taking the test.

Provide false information or documents when registering for or taking the test.

Use more than one account to complete  test sessions.

Alter or falsify your ielp test results or ielp Certificate.

Send an expired or invalid ielp Certificate to any third party.

Give your ielp username or password to any third party, or otherwise allow any third party to access your ielp account.

Download, copy, distribute, create derivative works from, or offer for sale any information contained on, or obtained from or through, the ielp test.

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any computer systems or networks relating to the test.

Circumvent, remove, alter, deactivate, degrade, or thwart any technological measure or content protections of the test.

Use any robot, spider, crawler, or other automatic device, process, software, or query that intercepts, mines, scrapes, or otherwise accesses the ielp test to monitor, extract, copy, or collect information or data from or through the test, or engage in any manual process to do the same.

Use the ielp test for purposes other than obtaining a good-faith evaluation of your language skills and results or

Use the ielp test in an illegal, harassing, unethical, or disruptive manner.

Test Taker Content

ielp will own all rights to any writing samples or other responses you submit to the test questions, any audio or video recordings of you taken during the test, and any feedback you choose to provide regarding the Test Taker Content. Subject to the ielp test Privacy Terms, ielp may use the Test Taker Content for any purpose.

Limitation of Liability

In addition to the limitation of liability in the ielp terms, ielp will not be liable for the actions or decisions of any third party, including but not limited to admissions, employment, immigration, or visa decisions, even if those actions or decisions are based on the test or information ielp provided or failed to provide regarding your performance on the test. ielp’s liability to you or any third party claiming through you for any cause whatsoever arising out of or relating to your use of the det is limited to the amount you paid for the ielp test.

No Third-Party Beneficiaries

ielp test terms are intended solely for the benefit of you and ielp. No third party may enforce any part of the test Terms.

Termination

ielp may terminate your access and use of the test immediately at any time, for any reason, and at such time you will have no further right to use the test. You may terminate your ielp test account at any time by following the instructions available on the website.

Injunctive Relief

You agree that your breach of these ielp test terms will cause irreparable injury to ielp for which monetary damages would not be an adequate remedy, and ielp will be entitled to equitable relief in addition to any remedies it may have hereunder or at law without a bond, other security, or proof of damages.
