Question distribution and item weighting principles
(CEFR as the Guideline)
1.Each section sources items from CEFR levels A1 → C2.
Reading & Listening: 12 items → two items per CEFR level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) with increasing weighted measures: A1 = 1.00 → C2 = 2.50.
Writing: 3 tasks across A-level, B-level, C-level; raw scoring uses detailed rubrics (task fulfillment, coherence, grammar, vocabulary, register) with item weights.
Speaking: 6 items (A-level, B-level, C-level) with weighted measures and rubrics for fluency, accuracy, range, and interaction.
2. Item metadata: every item tagged by CEFR level, skill, sub-skill (e.g., gist, detail, inference), topic, estimated difficulty, and exposure count.
3. Item rotation: a large rotating bank prevents reuse; anchor items used for calibration; no repeated items for the same candidate.
